At Painter Family Homestead, we take pride in providing healthy livestock, quality hatching eggs, and professional DNA testing services. Due to the nature of our products and services, the following refund policy applies to all purchases.

Piglet Sales

All piglet sales are final.

Deposits and payments made toward piglets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a piglet has been reserved, we remove that animal from availability and incur ongoing care costs associated with maintaining the reservation.

The only exception is if Painter Family Homestead determines that we are unable or unwilling to complete the sale. In such cases, any deposit or payment made by the customer will be refunded in full.

We do not offer refunds for:

• Change of mind

• Failure to pick up the animal

• Transportation issues

• Housing, zoning, or permit restrictions

• Buyer circumstances occurring after purchase

Hatching Eggs

Due to factors beyond our control, including incubation methods, equipment, shipping conditions, handling, and environmental factors, all hatching egg sales are final.

No refunds, replacements, or guarantees are provided for:

• Fertility rates

• Hatch rates

• Shipping delays or damage

• Incubation outcomes

By purchasing hatching eggs, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these risks.

DNA Testing Services

All DNA testing fees are non-refundable.

Once a sample has been submitted for processing, laboratory costs and testing procedures begin immediately. Therefore, no refunds will be issued for:

• Submitted samples

• Unsatisfactory results

• Delays caused by shipping carriers

• Improperly collected or contaminated samples

• Customer error in sample submission

Customers are responsible for following all sample collection instructions provided by Painter Family Homestead.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before payment is processed and before any services have been performed. Once payment has been accepted for livestock reservations, hatching eggs, or DNA testing, this refund policy applies.
